Eyeconic Studios Launches Media Academy in New Headquarters This Summer 2022

Houston’s millennial-owned television station develops a hub for creativity where innovators can call home. Located at 6115 Skyline Dr., Houston, TX 77057, Eyeconic Studios will host a red ribbon cutting ceremony to reveal its new location on June 25, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. The production studio will feature the city’s first multi-media academy, while introducing their new social-adulting program.

The Eyeconic Studios was established in 2018 as a space for creators to produce digital content, television shows, podcasts, and events. With over 30 combined staff members and interns, the studio breaks ground in their new headquarters of 6000 square feet. The company is excited to see their expansion plan become a reality as they have acquired a space more than double the amount of their first location in which they had to leave due to a major break in where Ja'Leah Davis was robbed for over $30,000 worth of equipment. And now she has had to rebuilt her dream from scratch.

“Houston is the next production site for entertainment and filmmaking,” CEO of Eyeconic Studios Ja’Leah Davis says. “Just like Los Angeles has Harpo Studios and Atlanta has Tyler Perry Studios, our city will have the Eyeconic Studios to develop live broadcasts and enticing visuals.”

The studio is also the home of Eyeconic Television KVVV Digital Station 15.10, where Davis is the youngest in the nation to own a television station. Her community efforts have earned her several awards, including her own day in the city from Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner. As a member of Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2022, the young CEO is dedicated to helping fellow “eyecons” reach their dreams through content creation and business planning. To fulfill this mission, Davis will introduce The Eyeconic Academy after the red ribbon cutting; a non-profit 501-C3 that will help children and adults improve their life skills through media and physical interaction.

“It’s important to understand the power of media from all aspects,” Davis states. “Our academy will train people of all ages safe media practices for cyber protection. Our new social-adulting program will teach adults how to use social media, manage their kids’ social media, and monetize on all social platforms.”

Eyeconic Studios is cultivating the next generations’ industry leaders. Community members are invited to partake in good food, music, and family fun during the studio tour and launch experience. For more information, follow @eyeconic.studios on social media or visit www.eyeconictelevision.com.
